Are you someone who can:

Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions

Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness

Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions by resolving queries fast end effective

Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements

Provide standby and complex problem resolution by interfacing with vendor support to resolve complex application and system configurations

Work with management to develop monitoring and reporting strategies to support company needs in effective monitoring performance.

Explore ways to constantly improve quality of existing services, processes and systems in order to be more efficient

Advise management on effective applications with regards to Maintenance, Support, Observability and Reporting Data management.

Manage system enhancements by implementations and changes after testing. Draft system definition documentation to ensure effective implementation

Define host software products and ensure availability of Host Software

Manage own development to increase own competencies

In-depth system / application knowledge to maximise contribution to the role

You Will Be an Ideal Candidate If You Have

2 years’ experience in Observability platforms (App and Log monitoring) and SQL Reporting

Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level
7) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is usually required

Proven experience with monitoring and observability platforms including App Dynamics, Splunk, Graylog, Prometheus, Grafana, and Solar Winds.

Strong ability to design, implement, and optimize dashboards, alerts, and end‑to‑end monitoring for complex, distributed environments.

Demonstrated capability to integrate AI/ML tooling into monitoring workflows, automation pipelines, and operational processes.

Solid background in open‑source technologies, with the ability to evaluate, implement, and maintain community-driven tools.

Proficiency in MS SQL scripting and automation to streamline operational tasks, build integrations, and enhance observability.

Excellent report writing and data analysis skills, able to translate technical insights into clear business‑ready reports and recommendations.
