About the Mandate

We are partnering with a global banking technology provider to appoint a senior enterprise sales leader to drive large-scale core banking and transaction banking platform growth across South Africa.

This is a strategic individual contributor role focused on Tier 1 banking clients and complex transformation programs.

This is not a peripheral fintech, payments-only, or channel-only mandate.

The appointed leader will:

• Drive new core banking platform wins across Tier 1 institutions
• Lead complex, multi-year digital banking transformation pursuits
• Navigate structured enterprise procurement and formal RFP processes
• Compete in highly strategic platform replacement and modernization programs
• Structure and close multi-million USD enterprise agreements
• Engage C-suite stakeholders across technology, operations and digital banking functions

This is a high-intensity, consultative enterprise sales mandate with long-cycle deal management.

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Direct experience selling enterprise-grade core banking platforms (not adjacent or point solutions)
• Personal ownership of significant annual quota (USD 5M+ equivalent preferred)
• Proven participation in structured Tier 1 banking RFP processes
• Experience closing large-scale transformation programs
• Established executive relationships within South African banking institutions
• Strong understanding of banking architecture, regulatory environments and modernization journeys

• Strategic enterprise hunter
• Comfortable with 12–24 month sales cycles
• Commercially disciplined and politically astute
• Board-level presence
• Deep understanding of banking transformation economics
