The Role:

Cybersecurity Specialist
The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for strengthening system security across digital platforms and ensuring compliance with recognised security standards. This role supports secure architecture, proactive risk mitigation, and the implementation of effective security controls across development and operational environments. The position plays a key role in protecting enterprise systems throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• 5–10 years of cybersecurity experience in enterprise or complex IT environments

• Perform vulnerability assessments and conduct detailed risk analyses

• Ensure systems comply with applicable security standards, frameworks, and policies

• Implement and maintain security controls, monitoring mechanisms, and remediation processes

• Support secure development practices across software delivery teams

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to embed security by design

• Prepare security documentation, reports, and compliance evidence

About You

• 5–10 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience

• Proven experience in vulnerability management, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks

• Strong understanding of security controls, monitoring tools, and enterprise security architecture

• Degree or Diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are advantageous

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and mitigating risks

• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
