As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the effective movement, collection, integration, storage and provisioning of data to meet business objectives through sound understanding of business unit requirements and frequent collaboration with relevant stakeholders (such as Enterprise Architecture, Database and Solution Architects, Business Intelligence Developers, Data Scientists and Product Owners, etc.)
** Are you someone who can:
*** Have an expert level of skill with regards to the design and implementation of modern data pipelines
* Have an expert level of skill with regards to database programming
* Have an expert level of skill with regards to the different information delivery frameworks and data warehousing patterns
* Extensive experience in workflow and orchestration of data pipelines
* Have experience using Big Data technologies
* Have good knowledge of cloud architecture and technologies
* Mentor junior engineers and lead engineering teams
* Understand banking regulatory and compliance environment
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex data engineering problem
** You will be an ideal candidate if you have:**

* Education:

** Have a relevant Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
* *
* Experience:

** A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
* ** Technical

Skills:

*** Advanced skills in designing and implementing ETL pipelines  + AbInitio experience is preferred
* Advanced database programming skills e.g. SQL
* A good understanding of Data Warehousing architecture and data product construction pipelines
* Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively.
* Ability to mentor and guide juniors
* Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
