We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our organization and help manage two teams within a SAFe Agile Release Train. Were looking for 5-7 years experience with relevant industry exposure (Linear and Digital Advertising sales). The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban frameworks, and SAFe principles. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, removing impediments, and facilitating communication between teams.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coach and guide teams within a SAFe Agile Release Train to improve their agile methodologies and adopt the Scrum framework effectively
- Facilitate team events such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Encourage team collaboration and communication, help resolve conflicts and remove impediments
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams and train them to adapt to changing requirements
- Ensure the team follows the SAFe principles, and Agile values to deliver high-quality products on time
- Track team performance metrics and identify areas of improvement
- Work with Product Owners to refine and prioritise the product backlog
- Liaise with the Release Train Engineer and Stakeholders to provide transparency and visibility into the team's progress
- Continuously improve the Scrum process, tools, and techniques to improve the team's productivity and efficiency
Qualifications and experience:
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile teams
- Experience in managing multiple Agile teams, preferably within a SAFe Agile Release Train
- Sound knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban frameworks, and SAFe principles
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand- ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Experience in facilitating PI Planning and helping teams create PI Objectives would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in using Agile management tools such as Azure Dev Ops (ADO preferred), JIRA or Trello
- Experience working with teams developing APIs would be advantageous
