- Solid hands-on experience as aplatform and data engineer (intermediate to senior level)
- Strong Azure data platform expertise — Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines,notebooks, semantic models), Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS Gen2,Azure Synapse Analytics, Event Hubs and Stream Analytics
- Proven ETL/ELT design, data modelling (Kimball, Data Vault 2.0) and warehousing experience
- Strong T-SQL, Python and Apache Spark capability
- Exposure to data governancetooling such as Databricks Unity Catalog and/or Microsoft Purview
- Agile ways of work, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant Azure certifications(AZ-900 and one of DP-600 / DP-700 / DP-203) and financial services experience would be advantageous
