We are seeking an experienced Open-Source Database Administrator (DBA). The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, management, optimization and securing of the open-source database environments that power critical business applications.

The role will focus primarily on PostgreSQL while supporting other open-source and cloud database technologies, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliable database operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with business owners, developers, Dev Ops, infrastructure and Sec Ops teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the organization's data assets.

• Administer and support PostgreSQL and otheropen-source databases.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and migratedatabase environments.
• Design and maintain high-availability,replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage Oracle Golden Gate replication and troubleshoot replication issues. Monitor database performance, capacity, and availability.
• Automate database administration using scripting, IaC, and CI/CD tools. Support
  24/7 production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
• Implement database security, access controls,and encryption.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, Infrastructure, Sec Ops,developers, and business teams.
• Maintain database documentation and operational standards.

• 5+ years' PostgreSQL / Open-Source Database Administration
• SQL Query Writing & Performance Tuning
• Database Replication & High Availability
• Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Oracle Golden Gate (OGG)
• Prometheus / Grafana / Zabbix
• Ansible / Terraform
• Database Security & Access Management

• MySQL / MariaDB / MongoDB / Redis
• Oracle RAC, Grid, ASM & Data Guard
• Exadata & ZFS
• Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops
• ITIL
• SAFe Agile Qualifications
• Degree in STEM or equivalent experience
• AWS, Azure, GCP, or Linux certifications(Advantageous) Core Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
