What You'll Do:Lead the development and execution of a forward-looking data strategy aligned with key business objectives.
Oversee enterprise-wide data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks (e.g. POPIA).
Champion the use of analytics and BI tools to generate actionable insights and predictive models.
Drive the modernization of legacy systems and implementation of scalable, cloud-based data platforms.
Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for data monetization and operational improvement.
Build and mentor a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous learning.
What Were Looking For :10+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong strategic thinking and technical acumen across data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex, data-driven initiatives.
Proficiency in data platforms and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and experience with Python or similar languages.
Deep understanding of data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
