Service Desk Agent

Our client is seeking a motivated Service Desk Agent to join their technical support team in Randburg . This role is the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing essential support to employees. You will be responsible for logging, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Receive, log, and manage all service requests and incidents via a ticketing system.
• Provide first-level technical support and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT support teams according to established procedures.
• Assist users with password resets, account lockouts, and general IT inquiries.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and software licenses.

• Proven experience working in a Service Desk or IT support environment.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
