Application Security Analyst

This isn't a typical App Sec role. You'll work on the cutting edge of AI development, translating your hard-won security expertise into training data that teaches AI how to think like a skilled security analyst.

• Analyze realistic application security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify and explain vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
• Evaluate the quality of secure coding practices and remediation strategies
• Build and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI to accurately assess and prioritize application risk
• Distinguish genuine exploitability from theoretical risk with clear, structured written analysis

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in application, product, or software security
• Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities
• Proven ability to assess real-world exploitability - not just textbook risk
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex security reasoning clearly
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment

• Experience with penetration testing, secure code review, or bug bounty programs
• Background in API security, cloud-native application security, or Dev Sec Ops
• Familiarity with AI or data labeling workflows
