We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure and Cloud Specialist
. The role will be based at our Houghton Estate office.

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, security and continuous improvement of our on-premises and cloud technology infrastructure.

The role requires a hands‑on technical professional with strong experience across Microsoft infrastructure, Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management, identity and access management, backup and disaster recovery.

• Administer and maintain network, server, virtualisation and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including Entra , Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive and Teams.
• Manage endpoints and device compliance using Microsoft Intune and Defender.
• Manage identity and access controls, including MFA, Conditional Access and SSO.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity and security and proactively resolve issues.
• Administer and monitor enterprise backup and recovery solutions and support disaster recovery testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, network, cloud and endpoint incidents.
• Support vulnerability remediation, patching, infrastructure hardening and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure modernisation, cloud migration and technology improvement projects.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, runbooks and operational reporting.
• Support IT governance, audit, compliance and IT service management processes.

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in infrastructure, systems, network and/or cloud administration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra , Intune and Defender.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls and wireless networks.
• Experience with virtualisation, backup, recovery and disaster recovery technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, MFA and Conditional Access.
• Experience with Power Shell scripting and automation.
• Relevant Microsoft, Azure, networking or cybersecurity certifications will be advantageous.
