Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Employment Type: 6 Months Initial - (Extendable)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and enhance enterprise cybersecurity capabilities across security operations, incident response, identity management, endpoint security, data protection, cloud security, and application security.

This role will act as a technical cybersecurity SME, driving security initiatives, mitigating risks, responding to incidents, and supporting secure technology practices across the organisation.

• Lead cybersecurity incident response, investigations, and remediation activities.
• Manage and optimise SIEM, SOC, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring capabilities.
• Support identity and access management controls, including MFA, SSO, and privileged access.
• Implement and maintain data protection and DLP solutions.
• Develop and enforce API security and secure development standards.
• Manage web, email, cloud, and endpoint security controls.
• Support vulnerability management, penetration testing remediation, and threat detection activities.
• Conduct security assessments and provide security guidance to technical teams.
• Mentor junior team members and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

• 7+ years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• SIEM/SOC operations
• EDR/XDR platforms
• Vulnerability management
• IAM and privileged access management
• Cloud and network security
• Data protection and DLP solutions
• Experience in enterprise security environments.
