Attorney – Foreclosure Department | Parktown

Introduction

Our client, a reputable law firm based in Parktown, is seeking a Candidate Attorney to join their Foreclosure Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven LLB graduate to gain hands-on experience in high-volume litigation. Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible

Minimum Requirements

• Completed LLB degree (ready to commence articles) cession or articles will be considered
• Reliable transport or ability to commute daily to Parktown
• Solid academic record (graduates from UP, UCT, Wits, Stellenbosch, or UJ preferred)
• Additional degrees or postgraduate qualifications advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents (summonses, affidavits, notices)
• Legal research and case preparation
• Court appearances in Johannesburg and Pretoria Magistrate’s Courts
• Liaising with clients, sheriffs, and correspondents
• Full exposure to the foreclosure litigation process

Advantageous

• Previous exposure to foreclosure or banking litigation
