Introduction
Our client, a reputable law firm based in Parktown, is seeking a Candidate Attorney to join their Foreclosure Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven LLB graduate to gain hands-on experience in high-volume litigation. Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Minimum Requirements
- Completed LLB degree (ready to commence articles) cession or articles will be considered
- Reliable transport or ability to commute daily to Parktown
- Solid academic record (graduates from UP, UCT, Wits, Stellenbosch, or UJ preferred)
- Additional degrees or postgraduate qualifications advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting legal documents (summonses, affidavits, notices)
- Legal research and case preparation
- Court appearances in Johannesburg and Pretoria Magistrate’s Courts
- Liaising with clients, sheriffs, and correspondents
- Full exposure to the foreclosure litigation process
Advantageous
- Previous exposure to foreclosure or banking litigation
