Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join their team in Johannesburg. The Maintenance Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities
– Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize downtime
– Monitor and track maintenance expenses and report on budget variances
– Conduct regular inspections on equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
– Order and maintain inventory of necessary maintenance supplies and parts
– Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
– Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders
– Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and performance metrics
– Assist in the development of long-term maintenance plans and budgets

Requirements:

– A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field
– Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Proficiency in maintenance management software
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Technical knowledge of equipment and facilities maintenance
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred
