Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Hydraulic System Assembly:
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints,
and technical manuals to assemble and install hydraulic systems for various
applications. This includes selecting the appropriate components such as pumps,
motors, valves, and hoses to ensure optimal system performance.
• Maintenance and Repair:
Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on existing
hydraulic systems to ensure their reliability and efficiency. Identify faulty components
and replace or repair them as needed to minimize downtime and maximize
productivity.
• Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues, including
leaks, pressure problems, and performance discrepancies. Implement effective
solutions to rectify problems and ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic
equipment.
• Quality Assurance:
Inspect and test assembled hydraulic systems to ensure they
meet required specifications and quality standards. Conduct performance tests to
assess system efficiency and make necessary adjustments.
• Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on
hydraulic systems. Promote a safe working environment and actively participate in
safety meetings and training sessions.
• Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of hydraulic system installations, repairs,
and maintenance activities. Keep track of spare parts inventory and submit detailed
reports as required.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to
support the design and implementation of hydraulic systems in new projects. Provide
valuable insights and feedback to improve system efficiency and functionality.
Requirements:
• Technical Expertise:
Possess a strong understanding of hydraulic principles,
components, and systems. Familiarity with hydraulic equipment, including pumps,
valves, cylinders, and hoses.

Experience:
3 – 5 years Proven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or similar role with a
track record of assembling, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems. On-the-job
experience in various industries is advantageous.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or
relevant vocational training in hydraulics is a plus.

Meticulous and precise in work, ensuring accuracy and quality in
all hydraulic fittings and installations

Effective at diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic system
issues, with the ability to implement appropriate solutions.
