Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, or drilling)
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Load raw materials and ensure correct machine settings
- Monitor machining processes and make basic adjustments
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, gauges)
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Meet production targets and deadlines
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic CNC programming knowledge (advantageous)
- Matric certificate
