Production Planner

Seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to manage the efficient production planning, scheduling, and coordination of manufacturing activities. Essential role in ensuring timely delivery of products, optimal resource utilization, and quality standards in an engineering environment.

• Manage and coordinate customer orders for timely delivery
• Develop and maintain production schedules for CNC machines
• Create and update routings for engineering products
• Coordinate resources, materials, and production timelines
• Ensure compliance with testing and quality procedures
• Utilize SAP for production planning and reporting
• Maintain accurate records using MS Office products
• Liaise with internal departments and customers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement

• Grade 12 (Matric) required
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with CNC machine production planning preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products
• Familiarity with quality and testing procedures

• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills

• Based in a manufacturing/engineering environment
• May require interaction with production staff, engineers, and customers
