INTERNAL VACANCY NOTICE HUMAN RESOURCES
Primary Responsibilities & DutiesMain purpose of the Job:
To support the implementation and maintenance of the Bid Air Cargo and Interloc Freight Services Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The Quality Officer assists in driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Plan and conduct scheduled internal audits using approved checklists.
- Document audit findings and communicate deficiencies to relevant stakeholders.
- Track corrective actions and verify closure of non-conformances.
- Prepare audit reports for management review.
- Participate in external audits and facilitate compliance with audit requirements.
- Maintain and update quality-related documents, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure controlled access to the central document library and prevent unauthorized use.
- Regularly review and archive obsolete documentation in line with company policy.
- Support staff in locating and applying the correct procedures for their roles.
- Protect company intellectual property and sensitive information from cyber threats.
- Compile monthly quality statistics and compliance reports for management.
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Manager:
Quality and Security. - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality incidents and corrective actions.
- Maintain records of all compliance activities for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate changes in quality procedures and policies to all relevant staff.
- Encourage staff to report hazards, non-compliance, and suggest improvements.
