Job Description

An established organisation is seeking an experienced Java Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of robust Java applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to troubleshooting and release support. The role requires experience with Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies, along with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and enhancements.

Participate in design meetings, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to team members.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development and production environments.

Interact with stakeholders to ensure smooth product releases and address issues in a timely manner.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support team deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of commercial experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with SQL and No

    SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure Dev Ops) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
