Software Developer- Certified Azure

We are seeking highly skilled and Microsoft Certified Azure Software Developers to join our growing technology team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, with a passion for building scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure services.

Implement microservices, APIs, and serverless functions using Azure Functions, App Services, and related technologies.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions.

Develop scalable data solutions leveraging Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, or related services.

Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or containerized workloads (Docker).

Implement cloud security best practices (Azure AD, Managed Identity, Key Vault, RBAC).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, Dev Ops engineers, product owners, and QA.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure system reliability and resilience.

Stay current with Azure technology trends and contribute to continuous improvement.

Microsoft Azure Certification (e.g., AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure or higher).

3+ years hands‑on experience building applications in Azure environments.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or Node.js.

Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architecture.

Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring.

Experience with Dev Ops tooling (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Terraform, or ARM templates).

Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Experience with container orchestration (AKS, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) using Terraform or Bicep.

Familiarity with Azure integration services (Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps).

Experience with unit testing, automated testing frameworks, and quality engineering.

Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
