Job Title:Junior Oracle Developer

Job Purpose

The Junior Oracle Developer is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle-based applications and database solutions under the guidance of Senior Developers. The role contributes to project delivery while building technical expertise within Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Development

• Develop and maintain Oracle database objects including:
• Tables
• Views
• Procedures
• Functions
• Packages
• Triggers
• Create and maintain PL/SQL code.
• Support data migration and integration activities.
• Develop Oracle Forms, Reports, and APEX applications where required.

Application Support & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Assist with system enhancements and change requests.
• Participate in system upgrades and deployments.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing and support integration testing.
• Identify and resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews and implement recommendations.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Senior Developers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business users.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project activities.
• Assist in documenting technical specifications and solutions.

Learning & Development

• Continuously enhance Oracle technical skills and industry knowledge.
• Participate in training and certification initiatives.
• Adopt development standards and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Oracle certifications advantageous.

Experience

• 3–5 years of Oracle development experience.
• Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development.
• Exposure to enterprise applications and support environments.
