Position: Senior AI Developer (Insurance)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Microsoft Developer with deep insurance industry knowledge who is passionate about leveraging AI, automation, and intelligent solutions to solve real business challenges. While AI remains a relatively new capability within the business, strong insurance experience is essential. We are open to candidates at varying stages of their AI journey, provided they bring solid technical expertise and a proven track record within the insurance sector.

What You'll Be Doing As a key member of the technology team, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement innovative AI-driven solutions and automation capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Build and enhance AI assistants, intelligent agents, chatbots, and workflow automation tools.
• Integrate AI services and models into existing business systems and applications.
• Develop robust, scalable software solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Support data-driven decision-making through advanced AI, RAG, semantic search, and analytics solutions.
• Optimise AI performance, scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while continuously improving existing platforms.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership on modern development practices and emerging AI technologies.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, best practices, and innovation initiatives.

What We're Looking For Essential Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Microsoft Developer within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations, products, processes, and business requirements.
• Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, APIs, and related web technologies.
• Strong database and integration experience, including SQL Server and modern data platforms.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into effective technology solutions.

Advantageous Experience

• Exposure to AI and Machine Learning development.
• Experience with Microsoft AI technologies, AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, Agent Framework, AI Studio, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, vector databases, Redis, RabbitMQ, and cloud-native architectures.
