Senior .NET Developer; System Integrations

The Role

A leading enterprise is looking for a Senior Systems Integration Developer to own the connective tissue between their internal platforms and external third-party systems. You'll be the engineer other developers turn to when integration code breaks, security threats need mitigating, or a new enterprise system needs to talk to five others cleanly. This isn't a maintenance seat — you'll be mapping conceptual, end-to-end solutions independently and shaping how the org's application architecture evolves.

• Develop and integrate multiple enterprise systems in line with business needs and requirements
• Independently map out conceptual, end-to-end application solutions and document technical specifications
• Build and maintain secure APIs/frameworks for external third-party systems to interface with
• Perform configuration management on integration code and systems interfaces
  
  Write, translate, and code software programs and applications to specification
• Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing systems; isolate, debug, and resolve problem areas
• Administer test results, deliver root-cause analysis, and drive fixes
• Manage and mentor junior developers
• Participate fully across the SDLC on a variety of concurrent projects
• Research emerging tools, languages, and standards; recommend and schedule improvements and upgrades
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA to conceptualize new software solutions
• Stay current on data protection and security threats, and ensure risks are mitigated
• Conform to relevant legislation, policy, and industry best practice

5+ years of experience directly related to Systems Integration, including most of the following:

• C#, ASP.NET (5+ years), ASP.NET Core (2-3 years)
• MS SQL, Web API
• SSRS
• MS Azure Dev Ops (2-3 years)

Matric plus a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent (NQF Level
7)

• Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
• Own reliable transport
