The Internship program places candidates within divisions of Apex Fund Services South Africa to provide workplace experience that lays a foundation for building a career. Interns are offered a 12-month contract with a monthly stipend. At the end of the contract, interns who meet Apex’s recruitment requirements can apply for any available vacancy on the career portal. While there are no guarantees, many interns have progressed to permanent vacancies following their internship.

The responsibilities will differ depending on the department the intern is placed in. Responsibilities include driving and contributing to a culture of quality and excellence through risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards and operational controls.

• Must have completed a Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Marketing or equivalent (essential).
• No prior experience required.
• Numeracy and analytical skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow rules and procedures.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.
