Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software

We’re hiring a Software Engineer (Intermediate to Senior) for a major global technology partner. This role focuses on API-driven development, cloud-based solutions using AWS, and building scalable microservices architectures.

This opportunity suits a self-starter who thrives in independent delivery environments and can confidently drive requirements and tasks across the full software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and deliver API-driven solutions across distributed systems
• Build and maintain scalable microservices architectures
• Develop integrations between front-end and back-end systems
• Work with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2, EKS, ECS, and more
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in CI/CD processes using Azure Dev Ops
• Collaborate within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and delivery
• Interpret and work with SQL/DB code to support integrations and APIs

• 5+ years’ experience with .NET /.NET Core, C#, Python, Power Shell, and SQL
• 5+ years’ experience with Java-based technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Cloud Watch, SQS, etc.)
• Proven expertise in Microservices and API development
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts
• Strong understanding of database structures and SQL
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Matillion (ETL) is advantageous
• Solid experience with clean code practices and unit testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure Dev Ops
• Comfortable working with JIRA and Agile methodologies
