Dyner is building the operating system for modern businesses.

We develop AI-powered software that helps businesses automate operations, make better decisions, and run more efficiently. Our initial focus has been the hospitality industry, where we have built intelligent tools spanning inventory management, invoice automation, labour planning, financial reporting, and operational intelligence. Over time, our ambition is to expand these capabilities across many industries.

Following Dyner's acquisition by Yoco, our team combines the speed and ambition of an early-stage startup with access to one of South Africa's largest small business platforms. This allows us to move quickly, build at scale, and deploy products to hundreds of thousands of businesses.

As a Frontend Engineer
, you will be responsible for building the user experience of Dyner's platform. You will develop fast, intuitive and polished interfaces that transform complex operational data into products businesses rely on every day.

You'll work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, AI engineers and the founders to rapidly design, build and iterate on new features. This is a hands‑on role where you'll have meaningful influence over frontend architecture, engineering standards and the overall product experience.

We're looking for engineers who care as much about creating exceptional user experiences as they do about writing clean, maintainable code.

• Design, build and maintain modern web applications using React and Type Script.
• Develop intuitive interfaces that simplify complex operational workflows and business data.
• Collaborate closely with product, design and engineering to rapidly prototype and launch new features.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to a scalable design system.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness and accessibility.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and AI-powered services.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of features from concept through deployment and continuous improvement.

• 1–2 years of professional frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building modern web applications using React and Type Script.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and backend services.
  
  Good understanding of responsive design, accessibility and frontend performance optimisation.
• A strong eye for product quality, usability and user experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with high ownership and autonomy.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with data visualisation or AI-powered applications is advantageous.
