Location: Johannesburg North
Our esteemed client in Sandton is urgently seeking two Junior Software Developers (AI Development Pathway).
Salary: Annual salary range of R276,000 – R336,000, excluding a quarterly bonus scheme (from 2027), which is payable based on individual performance and the meeting of KPIs
This opportunity is ideal for high-potential graduates or junior developers who demonstrate curiosity, strong analytical thinking, and a passion for emerging technologies. The role is designed to develop successful candidates into AI Software Engineers through hands-on experience and continuous professional growth.
To develop, test and support software solutions while building strong capabilities in artificial intelligence, automation and modern software engineering. The role is designed for high-potential graduates or junior developers who demonstrate curiosity, analytical thinking and a passion for emerging technologies, with the objective of developing into an AI Software Engineer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or final year).
- Strong programming fundamentals
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Exposure to C#, Java, Python or similar languages
- Knowledge of Git
- 0–2 years' commercial software development experience.
- Graduates with strong academic results, internships or personal software projects are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies is advantageous
