Senior PHP Developer ​/ Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 7 developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Remain hands-on with software development, contributing to coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
• Drive best practices across development processes, including code quality, architecture, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Assist with planning, prioritisation, and execution of development initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, systems, and overall technical capability.
• Provide technical support and guidance when required, including standby support as needed.
• Promote a positive engineering culture through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP / Laravel

• 7–10 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on PHP development experience within a LAMP environment.
• Experience working with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, architecture, and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing software engineers.
• Ability to drive technical excellence while fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
