QA Automation Engineer (Banking

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing Agile engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and driving an automation-first testing strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software across a complex, client-facing digital platform. This role requires a strong technical QA professional with hands-on automation development experience, capable of designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks while contributing to continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.

You will work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Dev Ops Engineers, and Solution Architects to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience delivering testing solutions within Agile software development environments.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale web applications and APIs.
• Financial Services or Banking experience is advantageous.

• Strong experience designing and developing automated test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium Web Driver.
• Front-end and back-end automation testing.
• Cross-browser and cross-platform testing experience.

• Strong development experience using: C# .NET Framework /.NET Core

• REST API testing Postman or equivalent API testing tools
• API automation frameworks

• Performance and load testing experience.
• Experience with K6 would be highly advantageous.

• Strong experience using Azure Dev Ops including:
• Azure Pipelines (CI/CD)
• Azure Test Plans
• Test case management
• Test reporting
• Release pipelines
• Work item management

• The following certifications would be advantageous: ISTQB Certified Tester ISEB Software Testing Certification
