PHP Plugin Developer

Our client is a dynamic, young company (5yrs) based in JHB North. They are a fast- growing Fin Tech and looking for an intermediate or senior level PHP Plugin Developer, who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting custom eCommerce plugins for Woo Commerce and Magento platforms.

This role involves close collaboration with the Integration team to ensure seamless integration with payment gateways and third-party services, while providing ongoing support to merchants. The developer will play a key role in delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable plugins, ensuring a smooth user experience

Build and update e-commerce plugins for Woo Commerce, Magento, Open Cart and Presta Shop to improve platform function and 3rd-party integrations.

Assist merchants with plugin installations, configurations, and troubleshooting issues that arise post-deployment.

Collaboration with Integration team & cross functional collaboration with other development teams as well (Back end, frontend, QA)

Code Quality and Best Practice

E-commerce platform expertise

Strong proficiency in PHP, particularly eCommerce plugin development

Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Magento or similar

3 - 6 years experience
