Senior BI Developer – AWS

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior AWS / BI Developer to support the migration of 3 to 4 complex Qlik View applications to Amazon Quick Sight
.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the existing Qlik View applications, understanding the underlying data models and reporting requirements, and rebuilding or migrating the applications into AWS Quick Sight.

• Analyze and assess 3–4 existing complex Qlik View applications
  .
• Understand existing data models, dashboards, reports, calculations and business logic.
• Design and develop equivalent reporting and analytics solutions using Amazon Quick Sight
  .
• Migrate and transform Qlik View applications into the AWS environment.
• Develop dashboards, reports, datasets and visualizations within Amazon Quick Sight.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are accurately translated.
• Validate migrated applications and ensure data accuracy and reporting functionality.
• Identify potential migration challenges, dependencies and optimization opportunities.
• Provide recommendations on the estimated effort and timeline based on the complexity of each application.
• Collaborate with the client and technical teams throughout the migration process.

• Extensive experience as a Senior BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS
  , particularly Amazon Quick Sight
  .
• Proven experience with Qlik View
  , including complex applications, dashboards and data models.
• Previous experience migrating or modernizing BI and reporting platforms.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data modelling
  • ETL and data transformation
  • SQL
  • BI reporting and dashboard development
  • AWS data and analytics services
• Ability to analyze complex legacy applications and translate business requirements into modern BI solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
