Senior QA Automation Engineers

Our client is looking for 3x highly skilled
Senior QA Automation Engineers (ASP and Core Banking) based in
Sandton
.

In this role, you will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to champion an automation-first approach
, strengthen quality engineering practices and support the delivery of high-quality applications across the platform.

• Owning testing activities across project and BAU initiatives, from planning through to release
• Designing risk-based test strategies covering functional, integration, API, regression, end-to-end and UAT testing
• Building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using C#/.NET, xUnit and NUnit
• Testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman or Bruno
• Integrating automated tests into Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines
• Validating application data using SQL and Azure Cosmos DB
• Managing defects through to resolution and contributing to root-cause analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional Agile delivery teams
• Mentoring junior QA Engineers and promoting quality engineering best practices

• At least 5 years’ experience
  in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• At least 3 years’ experience
  in Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, xUnit or NUnit
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
• Proficiency with Postman or Bruno
• Experience with SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Dev Ops and Azure Pipelines
• Strong understanding of the STLC, Agile delivery and risk-based testing
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

• Banking or financial services experience
• Experience testing distributed systems and microservices
• Exposure to Azure Application Insights, KQL or cloud-native applications
• Experience mentoring QA Engineers and driving automation best practices
