Full Stack Developer – Lead Experience

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with proven leadership, mentoring and systems-thinking capabilities. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing environment where you will spend approximately 60% of your time coding and 40% leading, training and mentoring other developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable front-end and back-end solutions using .NET and C#.
• Build, document and maintain APIs and system integrations.
• Design, optimise and maintain databases for accuracy, performance and reliability.
• Work with SQL, SSMS and SSRS to develop effective queries and reports.
• Use Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance.
• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Lead, train and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to broader systems thinking and technology improvements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI within the development workflow.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in .NET / C# development.
• Strong understanding of .NET frameworks and modern development practices.
• Solid front-end development knowledge, including HTML5, CSS, XML and jQuery.
• Proven API development and integration experience.
• Strong database fundamentals, including schema design, optimisation and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL, SSMS and SSRS experience.
• Experience working with ERP and/or retail systems is essential.
• Previous lead, mentoring or team-development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking abilities.
• Comfortable using AI tools or open to incorporating AI into the development process.
• Strong communication, ownership and collaboration skills.
