We are looking for a strong Java Developer with Azure experience who will drive the process and contribute towards the production of quality code and products; in a team environment; in accordance with the prescribed architecture, standards and implement as required within the agreed upon time frames.

• Fiveyears Software Development experience in a distributed computing environment using Java
• Advanced understanding and everyday use of OO principles such as inheritance,interfaces, abstract lasses, etc.
• Goodsystems and code design skills including good documentations skills where necessary
• Workingknowledgeof spring framework,architectural and development best practices(e.g. SOA, dependency injection, ORM, EJB3, JPA etc.)as well as J2EE application server environment will be an added advantage
• Strongknowledgeof CI/CD principles and Dev Ops practices.
• Azure Cloud experience, including development, deployment and support of applications within Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• Experience deploying and managing Java applications and microservices on Azure.
• Strongknowledgeof REST API design and development.
• Experience integrating applications with Azure-based databases, storage and messaging services would be advantageous.

• Assist with technical specifications when required

• Unit testing of the delivered code
• Impactanalysis on code changes
• Release management

• Knowledgeandexposure toagile software development would be advantageous
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working in the healthcare industrywould be advantageous
