About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Lead Mobile Application Developer to guide their mobile development efforts in Randburg . This role requires a deep understanding of both iOS and Android development, with a focus on creating exceptional user experiences and driving innovation in mobile platforms. You will lead a team of mobile developers, oversee the entire mobile application lifecycle, and collaborate closely with product management and design teams to deliver high-quality, feature-rich mobile applications.

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of native iOS and Android applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of mobile developers, fostering best practices and high code quality.

• Oversee the mobile application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications to streamline the release process.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the mobile development lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in iOS and Android.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of developers.
• Deep knowledge of Swift/Objective-C for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
