Product Engineer

23 is looking for Product Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the

development, enhancement, and ongoing improvement of product functionality.

As a Product Engineer, you will be involved across the software development lifecycle—from

understanding product and business requirements through to designing, developing, testing,

releasing and supporting product features.

This role is suited to a strong software engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working across different areas of the technology stack, and collaborating closely with product, business analysis, and QA and delivery teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain product features and functionality.
• Translate business and product requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable software.
• Work across frontend and backend components as required.
• Develop, integrate, and consume APIs.
• Integrate applications with external systems and services.
• Work with databases and support effective data integration.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues.
• Investigate problems and implement effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product and business analysts to understand requirements and deliverables.
• Work closely with QA teams to support quality and release readiness.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, practices, and standards.
• Support production releases and assist with post-release issue resolution when required.

• Professional software development experience.
• A strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
• Experience developing and supporting product-based applications.
• Good understanding of APIs and databases.
• Experience working with modern programming languages and development frameworks.
• Understanding of software testing and CI/CD practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working within an Agile software development environment.
