Senior Frontend Engineer; Angular

Our client, a prominent digital marketing agency based in Randburg, Gauteng , is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Angular to join their creative and technically adept team. This role is focused on building and enhancing sophisticated web applications and user interfaces that drive client success. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate design concepts into functional, responsive, and engaging digital experiences.

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality user interfaces using Angular.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into fully functional web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Implement automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in frontend technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions for frontend development.
• Ensure adherence to web accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with Angular (version 8+).
• Proficiency in Type Script, HTML5, and CSS3, including preprocessors like Sass or Less.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles.
