• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; compile and analyze financial reporting packages.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.
• Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
• Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to.
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting systems and policies for the set up of new operations.
• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.
• Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
• Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Keep up to date with latest accounting tools and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in an accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
