Job Description:
As a Technician C, you will complete routine scheduled maintenance and basic repair services on automotive vehicles. Your day will involve performing oil changes, tire replacement, brake services, fluid exchanges, alignments, and other maintenance procedures. You will also drive vehicles into service bays, perform digital inspections, test‑drive vehicles, and prepare them for delivery to customers. Maintaining a clean and organized shop is integral to providing a positive member experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance as outlined on repair orders
- Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance tasks
- Drive vehicles into service bay, prepare them for and conduct digital vehicle inspections
- Test drive vehicles and prepare them for customer delivery after repairs
- Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or technical school graduate
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 6 months relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program
- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools and resources for basic repairs and maintenance
- Consistent use of proper equipment and maintenance of a clean, safe, organized work area
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to improve service scores
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certifications (A4‑Suspension & Steering, A5‑Brakes) or equivalent
- G1‑Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred
- State inspection certificate when applicable
- AC 609 Certification
Work Environment:
- Exposure to loud noises and intermittent shop odors
- Standing, walking, reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying up to 80 pounds
- Must maintain own tools appropriate for the skill level required
- Work in heat; facilities may lack air conditioning but fans are available
- Work on feet in a concrete facility throughout the shift
