Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists
Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I for a Contract with a client in Johns Creek, GA
. You will oversee the planning, design, and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and facilities to ensure optimal utilization and compliance with safety standards.
Rate Range: $40/hour to $46/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Plan, design, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facilities, ensuring optimal utilization and compliance with safety and building codes.
- Develop layouts for plant, office, and production equipment to maximize operational efficiency.
- Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, and materials.
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to prepare design criteria, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition and inspect progress for compliance with specifications.
- Assist in developing short-term and long-term space plans and schedule preventive maintenance and periodic shutdowns for servicing equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of facility planning and equipment layout.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Pay Details$40.00 to $46.00 per hour
