Automation Engineer

We are partnering with a highly innovative, second-generation family-owned manufacturing leader located in Suwanee. This organization is deeply driven by continuous improvement and is currently modernizing its manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency. Location: Suwanee, GA
Compensation: $70,000 - $150,000 (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Controls Automation Engineer with a strong "builder mindset." This role features an extensive 8-month ramp-up period; the company is looking for someone who can walk into the role with a solid foundation, even if they aren't quite ready to "run" on day one. You will be joining a team of high-performing engineers and will play a critical role in bringing new robotics and automation concepts to life.

The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable. Leadership is highly involved, and project directions can shift 180 degrees at a moment's notice. We need an engineer who embraces these changes with a positive attitude and is excited by the dynamic nature of creating something new.

• Integrate off-the-shelf industrial robots into existing and new manufacturing workflows.
• Develop, customize, and maintain proprietary software and user interfaces.
• Program, test, and troubleshoot vision and motion control systems.
• Customize robotic technology to support operational improvements and enhance overall manufacturing productivity.
• Collaborate directly with engineering management and executive leadership to execute highly agile project deliverables.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience (or strong hands-on internship/co-op experience) working with industrial robots or PLC controls.

  Proven programming experience using C++, Python, and/or C#.
• Work History: Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous roles. (Candidates with short tenures must be prepared to clearly explain contract engagements or reasons for leaving).
