We are seeking a dedicated PMHNP-BC (or Psychiatric PA-C), who is passionate about delivering high quality outpatient care, to join our integrative and collaborative team in Johns Creek, GA!

In partnership with Hightop Health, our Psych Atlanta Clinic's in Marietta, Cartersville, Johns Creek and Roswell offer comprehensive psychiatric services for conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and addiction. Our team employs an integrative, holistic, patient-focused approach, combining traditional treatments with cutting‑edge therapies and concierge psychiatric services. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders including major depressive disorder, bipolar illnesses, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co‑morbidity substance misuse.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans. Regularly assess and document patient progress toward their goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and enhanced overall well‑being.
  • Refer and supervise effects of interventional treatments as appropriate including TMS, Esketamine (Spravato), and IV Ketamine. Refer patients who require intensive psychotherapy to IOP programming as indicated.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness, side effects, and patients’ preferences to develop an ideal pharmacological regimen.
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists—to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment effectiveness.
  • Order medical work‑ups including laboratory assessments, diagnostic tests, and specialty consultations to ensure that physical health and mental health are fully integrated.
  • Review data from clinical outcome measurements and use objective results in addition to subjective reports to modify treatment plans to help maximize effectiveness.
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Board‑Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting.
  • Must have a Georgia state license and active DEA.
  • Board Certification.
  • Experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations in an outpatient setting.
