Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist patients for radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize radiation safety measures and protection devices for patient and team member safety.
- Maintain and report on the functionality of radiologic equipment.
- Ensure adherence to Radiology workflows, accurate report cross‑referencing, and proper documentation.
- Understand and maintain all MRI, CT, X‑Ray technology equipment.
Medical Support Specialist Responsibilities
- Conduct DOT and Non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Perform rapid screening tests for various conditions.
- Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Perform routine medical procedures and triage emergent patients.
- Dispense medications, apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
- Perform clerical tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a program at an accredited school of radiologic technology, accompanied by state‑required certification.
- Active registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current certification.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid.
Job‑Related Experience
- Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
- Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare and/or customer service‑related experience.

- Must participate in initial and ongoing training as required.
- Obtain all certifications required of Medical Support Specialists including but not limited to Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, Hair, and Oral Fluids Collection.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and entry of data into various systems/applications.
