The Project Manager must embody and promote Green Brick Partners' core values, summarized by the acronym HOME: Honest, Objective, Mature, Efficient. They must effectively manage construction and warranty operations, community Building Supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all homes are built according to codes, quality standards, schedules, and profit objectives, while achieving customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Possess advanced technical skills, including passing periodic written tests.
- Have knowledge of local and national building codes.
- Possess structural, application, and estimating knowledge.
- Understand construction documents thoroughly, including scopes of work, blueprints, contracts, and insurance requirements.
- Operate with minimal supervision from the Area Construction Manager, with ongoing training.
- Manage a portfolio of homes (minimum 10-15), conducting site walks twice daily, verifying installations, scheduling, and material deliveries.
- Ensure job site organization, safety, and appearance.
- Maintain current scheduling tools and reports, manage timely home completion, and deliver quality homes.
- Conduct quality inspections, document reworks, and ensure all issues are addressed before customer closing.
- Interact with customers through orientations, respond promptly to inquiries, and manage warranty requests effectively.
- Oversee invoices, inspections, and relationships with inspectors, trade contractors, vendors, and employees.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training staff and trade partners.
- Exhibit leadership, conflict resolution, cost management, and safety enforcement skills.
- Maintain proper documentation, files, and safety standards.
- Estimate and budget for non-standard options, handle disputes, and perform other duties as assigned.
Supervise trades and manage decisions related to budgets and schedules.
Physical RequirementsMust have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel between communities. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical activities is required.

Qualifications- College degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of new construction experience
