Event Bartender – Part Time Primary Responsibilities- Support the mission and uphold the core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) through dedicated service
- Warmly greet each member and their guests with a smile and a welcoming attitude
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all beverage selections
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring all member requests are met promptly and professionally
- Keep the service area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift
- Foster a spirit of teamwork by assisting fellow staff members on the floor and with side duties
- Develop proficiency in the Jonas POS system to ensure seamless service
- Consistently follow AAC’s standard procedures for service
- Complete all required opening and closing side work during each shift
- Offer support to other departments and assist with club functions or special events as needed
- Resolve member issues promptly and effectively
- Foster teamwork by assisting coworkers with floor duties and side work
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
- Proficient in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and beverages and stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs. (e.g., kegs, cases of beverages)
- Safely lift and move kegs weighing up to 120 pounds, with assistance
- Work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., warm bar areas, walk‑in coolers)
- Frequent bending, lifting, walking, and standing
- Minimum of one year of experience in Food & Beverage
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain a pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Enjoy a holiday rate of 1.5 times normal pay for working on Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving
- 401(k) enrollment after 60 days (team member contributions if eligible)
- 401(k) employer contributions (4%) after one year if eligible
- Team member appreciation events (including a summer pool party and recognition party)
- Complimentary meals in our team member dining room during shift
