Generator Supercenter is the nation’s leading Generac Residential and Light Commercial Generator Sales and Service company—and we’re expanding! We’re looking for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals who are ready to learn a highly valuable trade and grow their careers with us.

We're hiring a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair Generac generators. Whether you come from automotive, HVAC, electrical, or another hands-on background, this could be the right opportunity for you. Prior generator experience is a plus—but not required. We offer full training for the right candidate. Please note there are 3 certification levels.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Generac standby generators
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil/air filter changes, battery swaps, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using error codes and schematics
• Service equipment in the field with professionalism and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer support and represent the brand with integrity
• Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions
• Identify and communicate opportunities for additional services or repairs

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a technician, mechanic, or in a similar hands-on role
• Solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Willingness to travel locally to customer job sites
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
