Johnsburg School District #12 is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill a vacancy in the Food Service Department.
REPORTS TO:Food Service Manager and Director
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:Work Year:
School days when children are present
- 172 Days
- $15.0x/hour
- Education and/or experience in Food Service a plus
- Knowledge of and ability to use Food Service machines, appliances, materials and tools
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Respect confidentiality
- Must be able to use tact and diplomacy in human relations
- Complete tasks or responsibilities as directed by Food Service Manager or Food Service Director'sguidelines
- Prepare food to assure that planned menus are followed
- Knowledge of food productions and sanitation etc.
- Lifting of large pots and cans of food for preparation and serving of school lunches
- Adhere to the district's expectations with regards to attendance and punctuality
