We are currently searching for a detail-oriented and motivated accountant to join our Government
Accounting & Advisory Team for local governments in Virginia and Tennessee. The consulting services group of ClearPoint CPAs focuses primarily on assisting localities in areas such as:

• Audit readiness
• Financial management assistance
• Internal controls

• 3-5 years of governmental accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client engagements efficiently
• Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Governmental accounting or audit experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Johnson City, TN or Norton, VA
• Remote work may be an option
• Minimal travel

• Full-time or Flex positions available.

• Compensatory with experience. This is a salaried position.
