Description: Internal Medicine Hospitalist position in Eastern Tennessee. Responsibilities include managing patients with procedures such as central lines, PICC lines, and infrequent intubations. Hospitalists also manage ventilators. There is no pulmonologist on staff, but specialty backup is available. The call rotation consists of 2 doctors per week. The program seeks 4 physicians. Scheduling involves 12-hour shift rounds and 24-hour shifts for admits and consults, with two physicians flipping schedules.
