Seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our sizable collegial group of pediatricians and pediatric specialty medicine physicians in northeastern Tennessee.
Position Highlights- The position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor
- Faculty rank is commensurate with education and experience
- Official workday is 7.5 hours, which includes a one-hour lunch/meal break
- Beautiful, new Pediatric Clinic with a warm, child and family-friendly environment
- Established Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic representing many specialties
- The pediatric GI division has 3 physicians, a mid-level provider, a dietitian, and 3 nurses
- 20+bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit staffed by 8 Pediatric Hospitalists
- At the time of hire, completion of a Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship is required
- This is a non-tenure, clinical track position
- Academic responsibilities include teaching medical students and pediatric residents, and academic pursuits
- Clinical responsibilities include providing clinical care and out-patient gastroenterology clinic
